The new "Beemer" is awesome: averaged 62 mpg (the XT 225 averaged 73 mpg), very quiet at 80 db at 3700 rpm, pulls harder than the ATK 605. Tires are terrible, front forks are passable; computerized fuel injection, oxygen sensor, cat converter, fuel pump, ABS brakes, hazard lights, & heated grips are all new to me. The frame, swing arm, radiator, oil cooler, fuel tank, & rear shock are very strong & robust from it's race heritage. It is the most comfortable & vibration free single I have ever ridden. It works very well on any kind of dirt or paved road. It's one of the top adventure tour bikes ever made IMHO.
